This policy outlines your rights and our obligations regarding returns, refunds, and warranties. These terms operate in conjunction with your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Express Warranty Periods

We provide an Express Warranty from the date of purchase:

  • Brand New Appliances: 1-Year Limited Warranty.

  • Used/Refurbished Appliances: 3-Month Limited Warranty.

2. Change of Mind & Sizing Returns (Non-Defective)

We understand that plans change or measurements may be missed. We accept returns for non-defective items (including items that do not fit your space) subject to these requirements:

  • Timeframe: Requests must be initiated within 14 calendar days of delivery.

  • Condition: The appliance must be in original, "as-sold" condition. Brand-new items must be unopened with all seals and manuals intact.

  • Deductions: To cover logistics, sanitization, and administrative processing, the following will be deducted from your refund:

    • Original Delivery Fee: $100 (Non-refundable)

    • Restocking Fee: $200

  • Exclusion: We cannot accept returns for items that have been used, show new cosmetic damage, or were installed.

3. Exchanges

  • Process: The original item must meet the "Change of Mind" criteria above.

  • Costs: You are responsible for the price difference between models plus a $100 exchange delivery fee.

4. Warranty Claims & Faulty Goods

If your appliance develops a mechanical or electrical fault:

  • Unauthorized Repairs: IMPORTANT: Any attempt to repair the appliance yourself or through a third-party technician will void your warranty immediately.

  • The Resolution Hierarchy:

    1. Repair: We reserve the right to attempt a repair first.

    2. Replacement: If repair is not feasible, we will replace the unit with a model of similar type, age, and value.

    3. Refund: Issued only as a last resort if a repair or replacement is unavailable.

5. Service Radius & Call-Out Fees

  • Free Service Zone: On-site repairs are free within a 40km radius of our Wetherill Park facility.

  • Extended Zone: For locations outside the 40km radius, you must either:

    • Pay a Service Call-Out Fee (quoted upon request); or

    • Transport the appliance back to our facility at your own expense for assessment.

6. Important Exclusions (What is Not Covered)

  • Cosmetic Issues: Minor scratches or dents that do not affect operation (common in refurbished goods).

  • Negligence: Damage from improper installation, overloading, or failure to clean filters.

  • External Factors: Power surges, pests (cockroaches/rodents), or weather exposure.

  • Transit Damage: Must be reported at the time of arrival. Once signed for, transit damage is the responsibility of the delivery provider.

7. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
